Adapted pavements in Batumi

In 1965 Seiichi Miyake invented a tactile tile for the blind and on 18 March 1967 for the first time in Japan a path with tactile tiles was made for people with a limited vision. For the blind the majority of paths for easy movement in Batumi are finished with “Legi” tactile tiles.  “Legi” tries to make environment maximally available and adapted for everyone.
